What the heck is a Zonnestraaltje?
A Zonnestraaltje is a "little ray of sun". It's a Dutch word that I have been fond of for over ten years now, and it's become part of my persona. I used to hope it described my personality, but the more I look around my little world, I realize it describes what I should experience in life... look beyond the gloomy to fully see the sparkling side of life. Catch the moments that come floating down to me on little rays of sun...soak them in, and be thankful for that time.

*grin* If all giant-size plaster animals came with giant-size chocolates, I'd happily set up a plaster menagerie in my backyard :-)
LOL!!! I'd be like a thousand pounds or something if I ate one of these chocolates! These three kisses are really fun. At random intervals they will whistle and shoot a kind of smoke out of their tops. David and Samantha were cracking up and yelling at them, "Go big kiss! Go!" We were sitting there for about 20 minutes doing this, and it still took them by surprise each time one of them went off!
By the way, I received your postcard today, thank you! The gardens look beautiful!
