A closer look...

Someone asked me what this little picture was by my info, so here's a larger look. It's me when I was little. It was taken at Knott's Berry Farm ages ago. Isn't this man gorgeous? He looks so wise and majestic. It's my mom's favorite picture.

Oh my goodness. I thought the little one must be you, but from the index picture, I thought the man was only a statue! He's wonderful. :-D

If my memory serves me correctly...(insert Iron Chef intro music here) LOL!

No seriously, I remember this trip to Knott's. My memory of my childhood goes back as far as when I was three years old or so. My mom was a hard-working single mom at the time, but she still managed to take me to Knott's, Disneyland, and Marine Land on a regular basis. Anyway...I remember there were more individuals like this back then that were just walking around... saloon girls and cowboys too. It used to have more of an authentic old west feeling to it. I miss Knott's. I haven't been there since 1999. We keep talking about taking the kids there, but thought they were a little young yet. Even though they have Camp Snoopy, many of the other rides may be too big for them. March 2006 when we are out again, they may be more ready to enjoy it. I'd love to take them there!

Oh, and was I scowling? I don't think I was scowling... I think I thought that's what Indians did...cross their arms and say, "How!" At least that's how they depicted them on TV back then. Somehow I think I was playing along.
