White Peony?

Can peonies be white? (I'm so lame with gardening! Help me, Satrina!) The other two specimens in our back yard that I haven't killed are separated by a sad looking azalea bush. I know for a fact that the magenta colored one is a peony, but the other looks just like it, but in white. They have the same kind of buds, and they blossom the same...so why not? I just want to make sure I'm calling this the right thing! LOL!

Very pretty...there's just something about pristine white flowers...

Unlike Y, I'm not jealous you have the flower...if I had the plant, it would be dead...BUT, I am jealous you have a yard!!! ;) Those are really expensive here!

Isn't it funny how we are always wanting something more than we have? I have a yard, but I am jealous of people around here who have bigger yards, or yards with privacy! LOL! I guess with some things it is hard to be satisfied. I'm always complaining because at 2:25 and 3:25 daily a window company down the alley lets out and we get a parade of cars that drives by, and they all have to stare into our backyard as they pass.
