What are Dep-lets? They are little random things heard in a depo that made me giggle to myself...sometimes funny enough to get the attorneys snickering too.
Q. So you are Board certified in internal medicine. Are you certified in any other areas?
A. No.
Q. Did you pass your boards on the first attempt?
A. No.
Q. How many times did you take the boards before you passed?
A. Six times.
Q. Was there a particular area in which you had more difficulty that prevented you from passing the boards the first five times?
A. Not knowing the answers.
This one came from a rather witty doctor who gives a great deposition. It was a pleasure taking his testimony and getting a laugh or two.
